For those who are relevantly new to commissioning, whether you are an artist or a client, please read the following carefully
Let's start looking at the basics in which a LOT of artists tend to neglect. Whenever you are commissioned by a client, it is always wise to have a written contract in which both parties will sign and keep for reference.
A major concern of mine is that, please do not get offended when I say this, but for a lot of clients, when you ask an artist
"How much for a picture of my character the Fluffy Cat?".
That does NOT give the artist enough information for our quote, it's the equivalent of going into a grocery store asking how much for dinner, or going to a jewelery store and asking for a shiny necklace with gold on it, better yet, how much for a piece of string In regards to Commissioning PLEASE READ CAREFULLY by ~ArtMagix
